Our Orlando office had the privilege of attending the ACCESS National Conference hosted by Altimeter Solutions Group to prepare hurricane kits for the upcoming season, and the day was a tremendous success.

The event began with an inspiring presentation from our VP of Regional Programs, Anthony Peral, who highlighted the impactful work Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is doing to help homeowners, strengthen neighborhoods, and build more resilient communities across the state. His remarks emphasized the importance of collaboration, preparedness, and service in creating lasting change for Florida families.

Following the presentation, attendees came together for a hurricane kit packing event focused on preparing communities for the upcoming storm season. Contractors, partners, and volunteers worked side by side to assemble 1,000 hurricane preparedness kits filled with essential supplies that will be distributed to community members, helping families stay safe and better prepared before a storm strikes.

This incredible effort was made possible through the generous support of Sunbelt Rentals, Cotality, Altimeter Solutions Group, Lowe’s, and ICON Restoration. Their commitment to community resilience and disaster preparedness will have a direct impact on the lives of countless Florida residents this hurricane season.
