Our Orlando office had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Hurricane Expo in Daytona Beach, hosted by the County of Volusia. The event brought together residents, emergency management professionals, nonprofit organizations, local government agencies, and community leaders with a shared goal: helping Floridians prepare for hurricane season and recover more effectively when storms impact their communities.
Throughout the day, attendees had the chance to learn about hurricane preparedness, emergency planning, available community resources, and recovery assistance programs. RTGFL was proud to join other organizations dedicated to strengthening community resilience and ensuring that homeowners have access to the information and support they need before, during, and after a disaster.
We were especially honored to stand alongside community leaders and partners, including Eric Burris, Meteorologist for WESH 2 News, who continues to educate and inform Floridians about severe weather and hurricane preparedness. Events like the Hurricane Expo play a vital role in connecting residents with trusted resources and empowering them to take proactive steps to protect their homes and families.
By working together with local governments, community organizations, businesses, and volunteers, we can build stronger, more resilient communities and ensure that Florida families have the resources they need to weather any storm.
We would like to thank the County of Volusia for hosting this important event and for their ongoing commitment to hurricane preparedness and community resilience. Together, we can continue to Repair, Revitalize, and Rebuild our communities.
