American Red Cross Home Tour Highlights Community Impact

Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is proud to host an American Red Cross Home Tour, bringing together our funders, partners, and leadership team to witness the impact of disaster recovery efforts firsthand.

Joining the tour are our Vice President of Development, Justin Coles, and Vice President of Construction, Margaret, along with representatives from the American Red Cross and other valued funding partners. Together, they visit homes that have received critical repairs through American Red Cross funding, providing an opportunity to see completed projects, meet homeowners, and better understand the life-changing impact these repairs have on families across our communities.

Throughout the tour, guests hear directly from homeowners whose lives have been transformed through critical home repairs. From restored roofs to safer living conditions and improved accessibility, each project represents more than construction—it represents renewed hope, stability, and the ability for families to remain safely in the homes they love.

The home tour also demonstrates the value of collaboration. Partnerships with organizations like the American Red Cross allow RTGFL to respond to disaster-related housing needs and provide long-term recovery solutions for homeowners affected by hurricanes and other unexpected events.

Seeing these projects in person reinforces the importance of investing in safe, healthy housing. Every repaired home is a testament to what can be accomplished when nonprofits, funders, volunteers, and community partners work together toward a shared mission.

We are deeply grateful to the American Red Cross and all of our funding partners whose continued support makes these projects possible. Their investment not only restores homes but also strengthens families, neighborhoods, and communities throughout Greater Florida.

As we continue expanding our disaster recovery efforts, this home tour serves as a reminder that our work is far from over. Together, we are creating lasting change—one home, one family, and one community at a time.
