Rebuilding Together Greater Florida Receives $1.25 Million Grant from Barancik Foundation

Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is honored to receive a $1.25 million Barancik Foundation grant to help expand critical home repairs and strengthen neighborhoods across Sarasota County.

The generous investment, highlighted in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, will support the preservation of affordable homeownership in Sarasota’s Newtown community by funding critical home repair projects for local families. This transformational grant will allow Rebuilding Together Greater Florida to serve up to 100 additional homeowners, helping residents remain safe, healthy, and independent in the homes they love.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Through repairs that improve accessibility, safety, and overall housing conditions, we work alongside homeowners to create lasting impacts that extend beyond individual homes and into the community as a whole.

We are incredibly grateful to the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation for its commitment to strengthening Sarasota neighborhoods and investing in organizations that create meaningful change. Their support will help ensure more families have access to safe, stable housing for years to come.

Thank you to the Barancik Foundation for believing in our mission and helping us continue rebuilding homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.
