Celebrating Women in Construction Appreciation Week at Rebuilding Together Greater Florida

In honor of Women in Construction Appreciation Week, Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is proud to recognize the talented women whose leadership, expertise, and dedication help strengthen communities across Florida.

From project planning and construction management to ensuring critical repairs are completed safely and effectively, women play an essential role in advancing our mission of providing safe and healthy homes for low-income homeowners.

This year, we are proud to spotlight Vice President of Construction Margaret and Construction Project Manager April. Through their hard work, knowledge, and commitment to serving others, they help make it possible for families throughout Florida to receive the critical repairs needed to remain safe in their homes.

Reflecting on her experience in the industry, Margaret shared, “I build on the foundation laid by the women who came before me, determined to raise the standard even higher for those who follow.” April echoed a similar sentiment, sharing that being a strong woman in construction means showing up every day with confidence, skill, and resilience while helping create opportunities for future generations of women in the field.

While women remain underrepresented in construction, leaders like Margaret and April continue to break barriers, inspire others, and demonstrate the value of diverse perspectives in the industry. This Women in Construction Appreciation Week, we celebrate their contributions and the impact they make every day in helping build stronger homes, stronger neighborhoods, and stronger communities.
