When Sylvia Campbell began experiencing significant roof issues at her DeSoto County home, she faced the uncertainty and stress that many homeowners experience when critical repairs become too costly to manage alone. Thanks to funding from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Rebuilding Together Greater Florida was able to complete a new roof for Sylvia, helping restore both the safety of her home and her peace of mind.

For Sylvia, the impact of the repairs went far beyond the roof itself. Reflecting on her experience, she shared, “This program is blessing to the community. I can’t stop thinking and talking about what they have done. It was a pleasure to know that people actually care. It was a blessing to meet and work with friendly people.”
