Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is proud to participate in the United Way Suncoast Florida Mini Conference, joining nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and partners from across the state to discuss strategies for strengthening and supporting Florida communities.
Representing RTGFL at the conference are Marketing Specialist Lola Adeagbo, Community Engagement Specialist Petra, and Director of Community Impact Sharon. The event provides a valuable opportunity to connect with organizations that share a commitment to community resilience, disaster preparedness, and long-term recovery efforts.
One of the highlights of the conference is an engaging panel discussion featuring meteorologists who share insights into the critical role forecasting and emergency communication play in disaster preparedness. The conversation explores how accurate weather forecasting, timely communication, and coordinated response efforts help communities prepare for severe weather events and recover more effectively after disasters occur.
